How to get a phase-free, linear dry/wet knob in Ableton
Have you ever tried creating a dry/wet knob in Ableton, so you can blend any plugin or chain even if it doesn’t have that functionality built in?
I did, and miserably failed each time. I always ended up with phase issues, volume incoherence or other strange bugs.
Creating a proper dry/wet knob in Ableton was nearly impossible. Until now.

A phase-free, linear dry/wet rack
A Russian YouTube user, “Rue Blose”, posted a video about how to create a phase-issue-free and 100% linear dry/wet effect rack.
I was literally mind-blown by his clever approach, and it does wonders.
If you want to skip the setup, I saved it as a rack. Drop it into Ableton and enjoy smooth, problem-free blending in your projects.
