“Alright, let me kick off by saying I'm not writing this review because I have to - I genuinely wanted to. I'm a music producer and I've been cooking up tracks for about three and a half years now. I've always believed in pumping time, effort, and resources into learning - it's just the best way to grow, personally and professionally.

When I first bumped into Ruslan's work, I wasn't too sure what it was all about. But then I got to sit in one of his masterclasses on YouTube and another free one he gave, and man, I knew I wanted to learn what he's teaching.

The mentorship with Ruslan has been nothing short of fantastic - it's been a positive, constructive, and professional journey all the way. I've improved my sound mixing big time. I used to shy away from mixing for other artists but now, I'm up for it any day. Ruslan's feedback on my work has always been spot-on, practical, and super helpful. And it's not the generic 'sounds good' kind of feedback. It's detailed pointers like 'try doing parallel compression with a 1176 for the transients' - makes a world of difference.

But what's unique is, in addition to technical insights, it also delved into the music industry's nuances and how to shape my career as a mixer.

“Being a part of this mentorship group has been quite insightful. Ruslan answered many of my questions, especially those about small, nuanced details that make my song mixes sound better. It’s also helped me establish a specific workflow for mixing without losing focus.

As far as growth and transformation are concerned, the timing of the course coincided with me travelling between Spain and Amsterdam and changing jobs, so I couldn't apply as much of what I learned as I had hoped. But now, having more time to apply the concepts and knowledge, I'm gradually hearing my songs improve and sound more professional.
